Back to School 2014

Well the school year is upon us again. 

I planned ahead this year and was able to get 

a quick Back to School themed session in. 

I LOVE this area for pictures and had a great overcast day. 

Being a Home schooled family, things like this

often get pushed back because of all the planning

and preparing I have to do. I am grateful I made this a

priority ! I know I am going to love looking back on all of the photo's one day. 

NOW if only I can get organized enough to make books for each year ! 

Katie's Party this year was Mermaid Themed. 

I found a cute way on pintrest to use streamers and make them look like sea weed

I used an old window of my MIL's and fish net I had from a previous party. 

My SIS in law made the Sand Castle Cake. 

My Sis in law also made both the girls Swimmable Mermaid Tails. 

I purchased the fins from Zulilly and the fabric at Jo Ann's

She measured my kids and the rest is basically Magic to me cause I 

have NO idea how the heck she was able to do that ! lol 

 We ended with a treasure hunt that turned out great and all the kids seemed to 

have a great time

 By far one of the cheapest and least stressful parties I have 

thrown, and one of the most fun !
